The heart of Saint Louis Day begins with Holy Mass at 9:30 AM in the historic St. Louis Catholic Church, celebrated by Auxiliary Bishop Michael Boulette and accompanied by the internationally renowned Liederkranz Choir of San Antonio. The majestic 155-year-old limestone church stands as a symbol of faith and tradition—be sure to listen to the recorded history of the parish near the entrance after Mass.
From there, hop on the free shuttle bus from the church parking lot on Angelo Street to Koenig Park. It drops you right at the gate—an easy and convenient way to avoid the busy parking near the park.
